Hello! We're got robot? FTC 5037 from Elgin, Illinois!
Our Mission: To build teamwork, character, and robots!

got robot? has been around for eleven years now, and we're still going strong with another challenge to tackle. This year, we're proud of our seven team members and one new rookie member promoted from our FLL team.

We're so excited to see where this season's game will lead us!

Some fun news for the commencement of a new season:

-In ten years, we have... got robot? has been blessed with ten years of connection and development in our hometown community. In that time, we've seeded teams and spread FIRST all over our area. We're proud of the connections we've been able to make with businesses and the countless things we've gotten to experience and learn. Thank you to everyone that has supported us--financially, in-kind, by teaching us, or by reaching out in any way. Thank you to the students on the teams we've founded, and thank you to the coaches and mentors who have made our journey possible. We love FIRST, and we'll always appreciate how you enable us to pursue it with passion!

GIVE BACK TEN: Celebrating Ten by Giving Ten

The 2017-18 season marked got robot?'s tenth anniversary in FIRST - and we've decided the best way to celebrate this is by saying thank-you in a big way to the community that has made those ten years fun and possible. This is where got robot's Give Back Ten project got its beginnings.

Over the course of a season or two, got robot? wants to raise $10,000 to buy STEM backpacks, books, and ultimately, a maker space for the local community to use that would be overseen by the Gail Borden Library. Read more about our Give Back Ten project and how you can get involved here.
